The reason we use the phrase “select associates” is that we are not initiating contact with the attorney on behalf of any specific client. (If you’re a partner at a law firm, please visit this page.)
To put it simply, we select and will reach out to attorneys that we feel have highly marketable skills and experience that are in demand at other firms.
If we have a conversation with an attorney and they are thinking of making a move to a new firm, we will work with them to determine what they believe would be an ideal situation for them. We’ll then formulate a plan to achieve the desired result.
The foundation of the plan is understanding what criteria the attorney is seeking in a new role and their motivation for considering a change. We then begin reaching out to firms in and out of our network to have conversations with people to see if there could be a good match. We do that by sharing generic details about practice areas, education, successes, years of experience, and what you are seeking in a new role. We never provide any personally identifiable information.
Once we ascertain if there is a possibility of a good match with an interested firm, we circle back with the attorney to see if there is a mutual interest. If there is, we request permission to share their name and CV. If granted, we will then move forward with making introductions and arranging interviews.
A good analogy for our attorney placement service would be “searching for a new job in stealth mode”. We can say, humbly, that it’s something we’re quite good at.
There is never a fee for our attorney placement service. Our fees are paid by firms upon a successful hire.
As always, confidentiality is always our highest priority!
